Help Static Trader Provide Housing for Ukrainian Refugees
During the recent and ongoing invasion of Ukraine, over 1 million people have had to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict.
We are Static Trader, a rye-based static caravan provider and we recently had a very heart-warming visit from a gentleman who has brought a number of caravans from us at his own expense to house some of the Ukrainian refugees. This got us thinking about how we could help further with this escalating refugee problem that has occurred because of the Russian-Ukraine war.
Our aim is to raise enough money so that we can fund the purchase of as many static caravans as we can to help prove suitable housing to Ukrainian refugees that have arrived here in the UK.

We have already sourced somewhere within the UK that we can place the static caravans as temporary accommodation for Ukrainian refugees here in the UK.
This is great news because the family’s coming over to the UK would usually be put into a Bed and Breakfast or hotel or bedsit type accommodation.
What Static Trader aims to do is provide them with a more welcoming home and by using static caravans this allows the families to almost feel like they have a home rather than stuck in a small B&B or hotel room.
Depending on how much we source in terms of funding we also plan to send as many static caravans to Romania as we can. Being the neighbouring country, Romania has welcomed a huge amount of refugees from Ukraine.
The static caravans will be sent to the town of Siret; a town is located on the borders of Ukraine and Romania. Static Trader has been in contact with the Mayor of Siret Adrian Popoiu, in which we have discussed the placement of the static caravan and everything else that happens behind the scenes.
Using our extensive experience with working with the agricultural sector providing temporary accommodation for foreign workers we feel we are best in our field for this purpose with experience in providing hundreds of caravans for temporary accommodation in the past. https://statictrader.com/static-caravans-farm-workers/

Our Goal
All donations will go towards the purchase and placement of static caravans here in the UK to be used as housing. Some of the funding will also be used to export caravans abroad to aid with the temporary housing of Ukrainian refugees in Romania.
If our goal is successful, we will consider and begin to look into sending temporary housing to other countries like Poland where needed.
