Static Trader and Corona Virus (Covid-19)
In light of recent developments around Corona Virus (Covid-19), we want to keep you informed of the steps we’re taking to protect our community, our customers and our team.
We are closely monitoring government guidelines for business and currently our sales ground remains open for staff and customers.
At this moment, we also continue to provide appraisals on static caravans being offered to us for purchase.
In order to support customers who may be self-isolating but still need to buy or sell static caravans, we aim to step up our busy ‘virtual’ service:This means we will be able to send photos and virtual tour videos of our statics for sale, using What’s App, social media, email and our website.By doing this, we hope to maintain contact and assist our customers, without compromising personal isolation and distancing measures. This also means that, in the event of businesses such as ours being advised to close, we will be able to work from home. In all cases, we will be working in our customers interests, as guided by government recommendations.
Operational services during the Corona Virus crisis
For our operational services such as transportation and siting, we will review the situation daily, with an aim to carry on as normal for as long as possible. However, we will keep a close eye on guidance around travel and separation recommendations across the UK. If our transportation services need to be postponed, we will allow plenty of time to reschedule and make every effort to minimise inconvenience to our customers.
If you are expecting a delivery and have been to a high risk country, are considered to be at risk, or have put yourself into self-isolation, please do make us aware as soon as possible.
Our team will be supporting your own efforts to minimise potential infection by operating with a no-touch policy – so, please don’t be offended if we don’t shake your hand! Again, we are following advice around hand washing and hygiene in accordance with Public Health guidelines.
We’ve yet to see any changes in the level of activity around sales and transportation, and we’re hopeful and positive. However, we appreciate the challenging situation that everyone is finding themselves in.
Our team is here to help and will be available as usual to discuss any concerns you may have around our services.
Please continue to contact us by phone, email and social media. In the event of closure, you can still leave us a voice message on 01797 222 333 as we will continue to monitor and respond to all messages.
